Installation in an exhibition in London’s National Gallery (Royal Academy of Arts?) titled “Sensing Space”, based on the theme of “scent”. A massive fragrance diffuser of height 5.5m was constructed by combining scented bamboo sticks, which can absorb liquids. The 4mm thin bamboo sticks are joined as though they are pulling out from each other, thus creating a stable, permeable and light structure.
