Creating a bath above the urban landscape. The act of bathing is one where both your soul and body are exposed. This naked state is suspended on top of the sprawling cityscape. Structurally, a raised-floor is created with carbon-fibre rods, and a bathtub made from white cedar was placed. Carbon-fibre has 10 times the strength of iron and doesn’t rust. It is also flexible, like bamboo, hence made it possible to create a soft and high-mobility bathroom. Each panel had been stabilised by combining triangular structure through finger joints. The naked state is enjoyed while veiled by an array of transparent, yet elegant fibre structures.
