A hilltop with a view of Mt. Saint-Victoire in Southern France, which was loved by Paul Cezanne, became the location of a pavilion, with an organic shape resembling a tree. A sense of levitating lightness was achieved by gradually staggering 20mm Ipe tree boards, which have great endurance. This permeable structure is supported by placing 4mm stainless steel plates in-between the timber boards. As Cezanne had depicted Saint-Victoire, tree has been abstracted through this piece.
